The Crusaders Story
In March 1978, under the supervision and direction of Reverend M. J. Bell (former pastor of the Hayes Tabernacle Christian Methodist Episcopal Church); Pastor Cecil D. Miles was given permission to start a Bible Study in Inglewood, California. After diligently searching for a place to hold bible study; Reverend Miles and his wife, Mattie, their two children Vincent and Karen, who have gone to be with the Lord, found a room at the Hawthorne United Methodist Church located in Hawthorne, California.  Reverend and Mrs. Miles contacted some of their friends and others who were not attending church and invited them to the Bible Study, which was taught by Pastor Miles each Sunday afternoon.

On October 29, 1978, the Bible Class was formally organized into a church under the name of Crusaders Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  In September 1985, our church unanimously voted to become an independent, non denominational group of believers.  The term "non-denominational" means that we are no longer under the authority of any other religious denomination.  After we became an independent group of believers, the name our of church was changed from Crusaders Christian Methodist Episcopal Church to Crusaders Christian Community Church.

On April 9, 1997, the Lord blessed us with our current church facilities, which are located at 601 Centinela Ave., Inglewood, California.  We are very thankful to the Lord for his directions, guidance, and the many blessings that he has bestowed upon our church throughout the many years of our ministries.
